VISOR brings territorial, environmental and tourism data from different owners into one view of Fuerteventura — so that visitor pressure can be seen, compared and acted on while it is happening.

Environmental, territorial and tourism data about Fuerteventura exist — but they sit in different organisations, formats and systems. Someone managing the island can rarely put two of them side by side, and by the time the numbers are assembled the season is over.
Dispersed data from different sources and systems.
Open standards: FIWARE NGSI-LD and Smart Data Models.
Turn data into reliable indicators and visualisations.
Territorial management, sustainability and resilience.
Each one answers a question a destination manager actually asks, and each one carries the provider it came from and the period it covers.
How many people set foot on the islet each day.
How close the islet runs to its permitted daily capacity.
How the load concentrates across the months of the year.
Arrivals set against the people who live here all year.
How much accommodation the island holds per inhabitant.
Energy consumed per person as visitor load rises and falls.
Those end dates are the point, not a footnote. Statistical series for Fuerteventura currently stop in 2021, while the islet is counted every day. The gap between the two is exactly what a data space is for — and the dashboard always shows which is which.
Indicator tiles, a map of Fuerteventura and Isla de Lobos with the pressure layer, and the series behind each number. Every figure names its provider and the date of its most recent data.

Average visitor spend, RevPAR, length of stay, occupancy forecasts.
Consumption and network losses on an island where water costs energy to make.
Demand against the island's growing renewable capacity.
Generation and separation, by municipality and season.
None of these require rebuilding VISOR. They require their owners to join the data space.
